Facial balancing is not injecting one zone because it is trending. It is looking at your face as a whole and adjusting the relationships between its features.
Profile, chin, lips and cheekbones are evaluated together: a small adjustment to the chin can do more for your profile than another syringe in the lips. Beatriz maps your proportions first, then places product only where the balance actually calls for it. That is why balanced faces read as "rested" instead of "worked on". You will not be passed between rotating injectors. Beatriz Duque, Autonomous APRN, evaluates you, plans your treatment and performs every injection herself, with facial anatomy studied in the cadaver lab with Dr. Sebastian Cotofana. When a treatment is not right for your face, she says no and tells you why.
If sagging or volume loss goes beyond what injectables solve, she will point you to the right plan instead of selling you syringes.

Injectables questions, straight answers
Will I look overdone or frozen?
No. The house rule at The Edit is natural results: conservative dosing, built gradually over visits instead of overfilling on day one. If a request would take your face somewhere artificial, Beatriz says so and adjusts the plan.
Do injectables hurt?
Very little. Numbing cream is applied before treatment, the needles are fine, and most appointments take only minutes. Most patients describe small pinches rather than pain.
How long do Botox and fillers last?
Botulinum toxin (Botox or Jeuveau) lasts about 3 to 4 months. Dermal fillers last from 6 to 18 months depending on the product and the area treated.
When will I see the results?
Botulinum toxin takes effect in 5 to 14 days. Filler results are visible immediately, then settle into their final shape over about 2 weeks as swelling resolves.
